About me
Background in multi-national scale back office transformation within Investment Banking. Qualified accountant. Moved into procurement following the LB collapse and have undertaken S2C, P2P implementations, process redesign and implementation, target operating model design to global scale across FMCG, banking and resources sectors. Specific focus areas have been savings methodology and savings governance, analytics and reporting, step change in procurement outsourcing, guided buying and sourcing process and strategy improvement. Delivered a range of projects including P2P standardisation and best practise implementation at a global resources firm, data analytics centre review and turnaround strategy, supplier portal review and improvement in implementation planning, purchasing hub design and roadmap, category design for guided buying, S2C project capture redesign and reporting step change.
Internally I have developed a range of IP from 'secret sauce' across P2P and S2C, led the improvement in spend analytics offering, papers on savings methodology, dealing with differing cultures across offshore outsourcers, P2P considerations for sourcing managers. I have also been involved in many proposals and have ownership of the marketing of the procurement technology part of the practise, including setting up and running events, generating material and facilitation of delivery of keynote presentations at public events.
