Price/Quality evaluation methodologies
We are one of the majority of Councils that use a relative method for scoring price - i.e. lowest bid divided by bid being evaluated multiplied by price weighting. There are number of articles arguing that this method may not comply with the PCR2015 - true assessment of MEAT and use of a price/quality ratio. However, there are also no known challenges to this methodology. Are there any public sector organisations out there considering changing their method? Any views on the risks and usability of alternative methods
