About me section iconAbout me

I am passionate about procurement, and the value that procurement can deliver for organizations. However, I believe we are on at the beginning of substantial change in our profession – both in the way we must create value for our organizations, and in our delivery model. The change – and the opportunities that that may bring – compelled me to make the jump from the corporate world in mid-2015. I founded and host the Art of Procurement, a weekly procurement podcast with a mission to help members of the procurement community elevate the role of our function, and their careers. I am fortunate to interview a cross section of industry thought leaders every week for the show. I also help procurement leaders adapt to the new normal by providing advisory services through ProcureChange. ProcureChange

September 2015 - Present (8 years, 7 months)
I strongly believe that the on-demand, as-a-service economy is going to fundamentally change the way in which companies structure their back office operations. I founded ProcureChange to help clients make procurement a competitive advantage by levering knowledge based outsourcing and the growing as-a-service economy. We do this through a mix of data driven products, traditional project-based consulting, and a governance retainer program – all built and delivered by procurement, and procurement outsourcing experts. Our products and services support clients whether they are looking to make either incremental or transformational change to their Indirect procurement organizations. For companies that are considering what procurement delivery models would be most appropriate to meet their long term goals, we answer the fundamental question: “could my company benefit from strategic procurement outsourcing?”. Where the answer is yes, we help clients design, build and govern their outsourced procurement program. This ensures that their program is designed and managed in a way that maximizes the value of their significant procurement investment.
