This is a fact: the world economy with its global coverage is always under a constant and dynamic evolution. Global companies are now facing new challenges: younger, diverse, different and tougher competition, shortage of skilled resources and interaction with different cultural background. To remain competitive, among the other, companies shall on-board professional people, able to provide immediate value. People with experience and skills will become more and more a rare resource. In light of these new challenges, my 18+ years of Procurement experience can help companies in achieving a cost consciousness and control as well bringing value and support the “revenue generation”. My experience is focused mostly on IT and Indirect spend area, with high involvement in strategic negotiations as well as team management. I have a strong knowledge of processes, innovation and overall “best practises” in Procurement with a specific knowledge on areas as Data Privacy, IPR, SaaS, IaaS and PaaS. The Procurement role has evolved from a pure “cost cutting” to a “revenue generating” team. Supporting Sales teams in their negotiations has proven to be a success and I have been able to mature my team in this area with excellent results. I’m open for a new challenge, in the area of Procurement (my main competence area) but also in the area of Sales, close to business and customers as I consider myself as a “deal maker”, the person you would call when everything has been tried and chances are few to make it happen. I’m an easy going person, driven by intuition and instinct and capable to establish positive empathy in the professional relationship. I’m able to think and act “out of the box”, finding solutions which are not standard or common but definitely effective. I’ve a proved track record of success in negotiations, revenue generation, P&L management, cost reduction and efficiency. I’m also able to work independently or in a team, always with the aim to achieve my targets.
