About Me

Born Melbourne, started work as a tea taster in the “Tea House” Melbourne as it is now known, then owned by Robur Tea Co. The inbound shipping was the beginning of an inbound supply chain career. Then to Gillette as a purchasing Officer on to Carnation Ltd as a Materials Manager, Quaker Products as a Group Materials Manager and ICI Australia as a Group Materials Manager and later a Business General Manager. I began working with Owen Davies group in 1993 and for twenty years I mentored, wrote and conducted training and consulted in Inbound Supply Chain planning and management. I was fortunate to travel extensively during this time to South East Asia, India, China and USA.
I am motivated by the concepts within Supply Chain and enjoy exploring innovation.
I studied part time twice each for 5 years, from 1971 to 1976 and 1985 to 1990 the former in Purchasing and supply skills (Caulfield Institute) and the later in Business management in Manufacturing (Monash Caulfield - yes same buildings- ).
