The Faculty is a Management Consulting firm that specialises in Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics. As Managing Director, I have the responsibility to ensure the operations of the business support driving "value" back to our clients, customers and staff. There are three client facing service offerings - Consulting, Networks & Programs, and Training.
My philosophy is to take the customer on the transformation journey – from strategy development & endorsement through to transformation execution, acting as the ‘trusted advisor’ to the organisation’s Board; Executive Management team, CPO and working groups.
At the Faculty, Andrew's experiences have ranged from the development of transformational strategies, through to policies and procedures; assisting clients with the tender process; driving organisations from a decentralised / project based environment to a centralised / corporate wide environment; to addressing the needs of social and local procurement - all while driving change.
He joined The Faculty 2.5 years ago, coming across with 12 years Corporate experience and 10 years Management Consulting experience (PwC). Prior to this, Andrew led PWC’s Transformation service offering for the last 6 years. As a result, Andrew has worked on some of Australia’s biggest companies and complex transformations – the majority of which he has led.
Recent clients include Bupa, CGU, ANZ, ING Wealth Management, NAB, Aust Post, Toll, AGL / Alinta, Wesfarmers, Coles, BP, Telstra, Sensis, Calliden Insurance, Murdoch Institute, Visa and PacBrands.
Andrew also comes to the table with over 25+ transformational experiences; 20+ strategy engagements and 30+ M&A transactions. Andrew’s specialities include:
- Strategy development and execution
- Procurement operating models
- Operational and commercial due diligence
- Transformations (Corporate and Business Unit including Procurement)
