About Me

Have worked in the SCM and Procurement profession for 29 years, the first 19 in Automotive / Manufacturing Industries (UK, Canada and Australia). Since 2007 I've set out to diversify my experience in a wide-ranging profession, gaining valuable development in Local Government, Energy Generation/Utilities, Mining, Construction and Oil & Gas to deepen my knowledge of what it takes to embed Procurement as a value provider in different industries and their individual cultures.

Passionate about most aspects of the profession, I promote Sustainability (particularly CSR), Ethics, SRM / Supplier Development. Since migrating to Australia from UK in 2004, I have helped to grow our amazing profession by encouraging people to join up and continuously develop to make the most of themselves as confident professionals.

Proud to have gained FCIPS in 2011 for the continuous development of, and service to, the Procurement and SCM profession in Australasia.

My main iterests are; Travel, Football, NFL, Ice Hockey, Golf and Tennis (big Andy Murray fan) and walking in my favourite cities (Greater Springfield and Brisbane).
