Super Normal Leaders Have a Heart

They recognise that success starts with teamwork and human connection, so they put people first. They recognise that vulnerability - financial, mental, physical and social - is very real, so they give people the time, space and support they need under difficult circumstances. They recognise that talent wins 100% of the time, so they place their trust in their team's ability.

But putting people first isn't always easy in a chaotic world! Even so, that's the Super Normal Leader's intention every day, underpinning their decisions, actions, engagements and relationships. Their people are core to their success.

So when the work piles up, the demands are laid on thick and fast, and everyone wants a piece of you, will you be intimidated by the sheer volume of work, fear of failure, dominant personalities and putting your cards on the table?

Never!

Most of us won’t exactly jump out of a plane into a warzone or face the firing squad - and neither has Lucy Bloom. But, in this 90-minute session, she will have you facing your fears and pushing through difficulties with dignity, grace and calm. Having left our 2019 Big Ideas Summit delegates screaming for more, Lucy’s back for Round 2.

Discover how such courage is not exclusively for combat soldiers: Facing fear, taking risks and pushing through is a learned skill, and a part of everyday life and business. And the skill is yours to command.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn to face fear, take appropriate risks and push through
  • Master the art of testing your nerve, swallowing your fear and doing business courageously
  • Foster everyday courage; develop a healthy appetite for risk

This session is for The Faculty Roundtable members only. For more information on The Faculty Roundtable, please contact [email protected].
