In an increasingly interconnected world, robust and resilient supply chains are key. The pandemic has revealed that interruptions in third-party relationships can severely disrupt business operations and at worst result in an inability to operate. Additionally, the escalating cyber threat landscape poses ongoing risk management challenges for organisations.

In this session, we will explore examples of where cyber incidents within the supply chain have impacted an organisation's ability to operate or present significant adverse contractual and reputational impacts on customer arrangements. We will then consider what ‘better practice’ looks like, including how specific sectors and sector regulators are requiring a more detailed and intensive approach to third and fourth-party supplier risk management.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Gain a high-level understanding of the current and evolving threat environment.
  • Identify and analyse the specific nature of the risks that can emerge in supply chain environments.
  • Examine how certain regulatory regimes are considering supply chain risk.
  • Explore the emerging trends and practices in contracting and process elements/controls.

AUDIENCE: Intermediate to senior procurement or supply chain professionals.

This session is for The Faculty Roundtable members only. For more information on The Faculty Roundtable, please contact [email protected]
