The Faculty Culturally Diverse Women Masterclass 4 | Member-Only Event
Moving from Aspirations to Goal Setting to Goal Progression
Can you articulate clearly what you want and when you want it by, in life and in your career? If you can, have you learnt to progress these goals, over time?
As human beings we have at least 6 other dreams and aspirations, other than ones related to our careers. All of them are usually intertwined and for many, mainly unconsciously.
Where are you in terms of your own clarity on your goals?
We have learnt from the 400+ women in our alumni, that women from different cultural backgrounds often have a complex mix of competing priorities that see them sacrificing career aspirations. These aspirations don’t get formulated into SMART career goals and this slows down progression, especially in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s career-life stage. This results in professional migrant, CALD and women of colour having to work longer to support their retirement and dependents.
In this session, gain the clarity you need on your career-life goals and learn a methodology to mobilise you forward.
This Masterclass Series is for The Faculty Roundtable members only. Each member organisation can nominate one representative to join the CDW Program. Please contact Rhylee Nowell, Senior Program Manager, The Faculty for more information [email protected]
