The Faculty Culturally Diverse Women Masterclass 1 | Member-Only Event
Rediscovering Your Cultural Identity Through Story-Telling
How comfortable are you sharing your all of your cultural identity at work? Do you see your diversity as a strength? How do you tell your story with impact?
Many of the migrants, people of colour and culturally and linguistically diverse people we have worked with, first are not sure what label to put on themselves. Some of them report that a stereotypical label has been assigned by others without their consent. Many of our past participants say it has been easier to just blend in or fit in. Often they, in avertedly or deliberately hide their rich cultural backgrounds. The longer it stays hidden, the harder it is to share it.
In this session, you will learn to amplify those parts of your cultural identity that work at work by learning a story telling methodology. You will find strength in other’s stories in relation to your own. Your personal rebrand journey starts here.
This Masterclass Series is for The Faculty Roundtable members only. Each member organisation can nominate one representative to join the CDW Program. Please contact Rhylee Nowell, Senior Program Manager, The Faculty for more information [email protected]
