Would you categorise this as savings or something more?

I was speaking with a client the other day who are a manufacturing company. They currently spend £x a year with a supplier on a certain part. They have realised that their parent company in the US can actually produce this part for a huge saving (excluding delivery and storage). Should they decide to move away from their incumbent and go with their parent company if TCO would result in savings - would you consider this savings, or more than that, as you are also contributing to the revenue at a group level? Does anyone else have any similar examples they could share?
