Where do I need to start?? Need your Advice and Suggestions Please!

Hai Everyone, I am new here. An aspirational Procurement/Supply Chain professional stuck in the career transition. So any help, advice or suggestions will be of a great help! I am a tertiary qualified professional in Engineering, Business Management and with a Specialist Masters in Supply Chain Management from Melbourne Business Shool. I am a diversified experienced professional with 5 years of experience in overseas and 9 years of experience locally. Most of my experience was in Manufacturing and Engineering domain in multi-faceted roles and a couple of years in Supply Chain back in overseas for a Tier1 Automotive MNC. After so many years of working in the technical roles, I have decided to pursue a career in Supply Chain/Procurement which I am passionate about and my past experience will complement it. As a first step towards it completed my masters in Supply Chain and on the way to acquire MCIPS and APICS CSCP accreditation. I was on a career break from the last 6 months to focus and finish my studies. Since I graduated last month I am applying for the roles in Supply Chain & Procurement. The answer I get from all the recruiters is No Experience in Supply Chain/Procurement locally and they need few years of experience to help me out. I attend networking events of CIPS, all other kinds and try to build my professional network wherever possible. I am not fresh graduate either, so with my experience and the qualifications I can be a great asset to any organisation!! I can take so many transferable skills which I acquired from my previous jobs. So my question is what more I need to do? Where do I have to start? What else I need to do convince recruiters? I want to learn from your experiences and journey, how you have started your procurement career? Please share your thoughts, suggestions, and advice. Thanks in advance for the help. Best Regards Srini
