When Buyers become sellers....

I am looking at an interim role where the primary objective is to orchestrate the sale of capital equipment as part of a site closure in the UK. I have been involved in several site transfer of production over the years and one or two site closures and was reminding myself of what worked well and what did not. In most cases getting the soon to be made redundant staff onboard with sharing their years of knowledge enthusiastically and in a helpful and timely manner was probably one of the key challenges. I am told the environment is quite hostile and to expect to do a lot persuading. fair enough...........I have been through a working receivership myself and that was not fun. I would be interested in any members here experiences around the issue of site closures and how they succeeded in getting the best out of the work force. cheers and thanks in advance
