Suppliers .... When in a tender what questions don't you get asked about that you really really wanted to be asked about?
[This question is aimed more for suppliers/sellers than buyers/customers (but feel free to add your views)...]
Some of the best tenders I've run is where I've worked with the market and asked suppliers "what should we be asking YOU if we want the best supply chain?"
For example, when buying goods that require tooling there is often a lack of awareness on just how much consideration needs to be made for the type of material used, the set up time, the throughput, the tolerances, etc, etc.
Now most buying professionals will be able to ask questions they think they need to be asking but [suppliers] what do you think a buyer should be asking you and why?
(For a bonus ... what questions do you get asked than always feel like a waste of time?)
