So now what? The procurement fall out from Brexit
If you've not been in the UK for the past few weeks, the EU Referendum might have largely passed you by - that is, until today. Even in my own neighbourhood around Portobello Road, the debate at the fruit and veg barrows over the Brexit outcome this morning was fierce, intense and seemingly everyone - from grocers, to buskers and tourists - were happy to offer a view on what would happen now.
Here in London there's much shock and anxiety at the result which is understandable but the message seems to be clear - "grieve now if you must, but start preparing for the challenges ahead".
With the result still less than 12 hours old, I'm keen to get early opinions on:
- Does Brexit have the potential to disrupt global procurement?
-What are you doing immediately in response to the news?
-What changes do you expect to implement in the next several weeks?
- Did you have any contingency plans in place?
