Is there a talent deficit in Procurement?
As a recruiter specializing in Supply Chain and Procurement, I'm really interested in talent developments in the field. One thing that we've been hearing a lot about in Canada is the so-called "talent deficit" in Supply Chain and Procurement - caused by the combination of baby boomers retiring and a lack of young people entering the field. I'm wondering what the Procurious community thinks about this - is this a topic that's coming up at all in your own markets?
Here's a recent blog post we wrote about this topic: http://www.argentus.com/theres-a-supply-chain-talent-perfect-storm-on-the-horizon/
