Has anyone made the move from the US to the UK? What can I do to put myself in the best position to find a great procurement job?
I'm from the UK but have lived in South Korea and the USA for the last 10 years. I started working in procurement around 8 years ago and have been working in government/public procurement for the last year. I am about to start an MBA here and my husband and I would love to move to the UK within the next five years. How can I position myself to land a great job? I'm hoping to start working as a procurement analyst in IT software and staff augmentation within the next couple of months, I'm currently a procurement specialist for office machines, postage, communications, intergovernmental agreements, some banking and appraisal/audit. Any advice is welcome!
