Cancellation Policy

Hi, I am reviewing a Statement of work and a vendor has put a cancellation policy in the agreement of charges they will charge us if we were to cancel before the planned work e.g under 5 days notice, between or more than 10 days cancellation etc. How do you go about making this favorable to client?
