Can anyone recommend a good stand alone Purchase to Pay system?

I am interested in how other organisations manage their P2P through technology. What systems do you use? What does good look like and do they always fully integrate with ERP or Finance platforms? Education sector replies especially welcome but I'd love to hear views from anyone.
