BAE Systems offers job opportunity for a Procurement Manager in Barrow-In-Furness, UK

Would you like to manage a team working on an international supply chain? We currently have a vacancy for a Procurement Manager at our site in Barrow-In-Furness. As a Procurement Manager, you will be taking a leading role in the development of Weapon Systems UK’s (WSUK’s) Supply chain strategy in its markets across the USA and Asia, from the initial business case review to the ultimate delivery of product in country. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within a small integrated team with a wide bandwidth of responsibility. Your main responsibilities as a Procurement Manager will involve: - Providing Procurement governance and leadership to the Integrated Product teams responsible for key objectives on Weapons major programmes - Developing strategies including where required, business cases that provide financial analysis amongst other important decider information that allows the Weapon Systems UK (WSUK’s) as well as other BAE Systems Business Units SLT members to make the right decision for the organisation - Proposing innovative tools and techniques for assuring requisite requirements are delivered from WSUK’s Supply Chain Carrying out analysis of supplier data market information supporting business decisions and supplier assessments giving credence to sourcing decisions - Supporting SSR’s (Strategic Supplier Review’s) and coordinating quality input into PMRT (Procurement Management Reporting Tool) - Assessing BAE Systems Business units requirements against Offset partner capabilities supporting sourcing decisions with in country offset partners - Working with suppliers to develop cost down initiatives through process improvements - Providing professional functional leadership to the Offset delivery team More information: https://express.candarine.com/campaign/url/forward/705b9bf5ff17
